For climbing in the Indian Himalayas, one needs advance permission from the Government of India. For that you have to send in your details and copy of your insurance details four months prior to your departure from your country. If in groups, the complete group should have insurance policies covering them. The permission is granted by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, which we will sort out much before your arrival in India.
