Offering and organizing cultural tours are speciality of The North India Trekking. We have some of the best designed tour programs, which cover the vast spread of Himalayas. Our specialty is the way we show you the age old culture and traditions of the Himalayan region.

Ladakh

Known as the last bastion of Tibetan Buddhism, Ladakh is famous for its well preserved culture and traditions. This land of thousand monasteries will take you deep inside its history and the mysticism revolving around almost everything. People here are very kind and warm hearted. In our cultural tours we will take you to certain monasteries, where you’ll know the way of living of the Buddhist monks and the nuns and learn about the vast heritage of these monasteries. We will take you into the villages of Ladakh where you will find a smile on every face and a welcome note in every gesture. We will take you into the depths of rural Ladakh, where modernization is still an alien word, which will make you feel free from the hectic schedules of this materialistic world. All the big monasteries do have their own monastic festivals and at The North India Trekking we have knitted our programs in such a way that you can visit at least one of them. Below we have given the calendar dates of all the monastic festivals for four years, so that you can plan your trip according to your convenience.
